Question Tags Definition in Tamil

Question Tags என்பது ஒரு முடிவு (confirmation) எடுப்பதற்காக பயன்படுத்துவோம். மேலும் இந்த Question Tags நாம் கேட்கும் கேள்வி மற்றும் பதில் சரியாக இருக்கிறதா என்று அறியவும் மேலும் நாம் கூட பேசுபவரின் எண்ணங்களை அறியவும் அவர்களின் அறிவரைகளைக் கேட்கவும் மேலும் சரியான உரையாடல் நடந்து ஒரு முடிவுஎடுப்பதற்கு முக்கியப் பங்கு வைக்கிறது இந்த Question Tags ஆகும்.

ஒரு Question Tags ஆனது ஒரு statement தொடர்ந்து ஒருசிறிய (short-mini question) கேள்வியாக வருவது. இது பெரும்பாலும் ஒரு confirmationஅதாவது ஒருவிஷயம் அது சரியா இல்லையா என்பதை அறிய பயன்படும்.

ஒரு main clause positive’வ இருந்தால், question tags negative’வ இருக்கும். அல்லது main clause negative’வ இருந்தால், question tags positive’வ இருக்கும்.

சில வார்த்தைகள் negative meaning தரும், உதாரணமாக : seldom, scarcely, hardly, rarely, barely, never  ...ect.

main clause negative’வாக இருந்தால், question tags positive’வாக இருக்கும்.

➤ I barely know you, Do I ?

➣ நான் உன்னை அரிதாகவே அறிவேன்,இல்லையா?

➤ She never played again, Did he?

➣ அவள் மீண்டும் விளையாட வில்லை,இல்லையா?

am not என்பதை contracted form பயன்படுத்த முடியாது அதனால்aren’t பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

➤ I am working, aren’t I ?

➣ நான் வேலைசெய்கிறேன், நான் வேலை செய்யவில்லையா?

➤ I am playing, aren’t I ?

➣ நான் விளையாடுகிறேன்,நான் விளையாடவில்லையா?

ஒரு வாக்கியம் there என்று தொடர்ந்தால், அதன் question tags என்பதில் there என்பதை pronoun பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

➤ There is no water bottle, is there ?

➣ தண்ணீர் பாட்டில் இல்லை, தண்ணீர் பாட்டில் இருக்கிறதா இல்லையா?

➤ There were no good gyms in the city, were there ?

➣ நகரத்தில் நல்ல உடற்பயிற்சி கூடம் இல்லை, அங்கு நல்ல உடற்பயிற்சி கூடம்  இல்லையா?

imperative வாக்கியத்தில், question tags’யில் won’t you பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

➤ Go out, won’t you ?

➣ வெளியே போ நீ. நீங்கள் வெளியே போகமாட்டீர்களா?

➤ Play well, won’t you ?

➣ நீங்கள் நன்றாக விளையாடுகிறீர்கள்,நீங்கள் விளையாடமாட்டீர்களா??

ஒரு வாக்கியம் let us / let’s என்றுதொடர்ந்தால், அதன்question tagsஎன்பதில் shall we என்பதை பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

➣ இன்று காலை கடற்கரைக்குச்செல்வோம், நாம்செல்வோம்மா?இல்லையா?

Question Tags என்பது வாக்கியத்தின் முக்கியமான பாகங்களில் இருந்துகேட்க வேண்டும்.

➤ I think, She is so beautiful, isn't she ?

➣ நான் நினைக்கிறேன்,அவள் மிகவும் அழகாக இருக்கிறாள், அவள்அழகாஇருக்கிறாளாஇல்லையா?

➤ I like, she is speaking well. isn’t she ?

➣ எனக்கு பிடிக்கும், அவள் நன்றாக பேசுகிறாள். அவள்ஜபேசுகிறாள்ளா இல்லையா?

collective noun என்பதில் நாம் singular verb எடுத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் மேலும் நாம் question tags’யில் singular pronoun பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

➤ The politician has taken its decision, hasn’t it ?

➣ அரசியல்வாதி தனது முடிவை எடுத்துள்ளார், இல்லையா?

special words  none, no one, every, each, everyone, everybody, nobody ..ect. singular வந்தால் singular verb, singular pronoun பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். singular adjective வந்தால் plural verb plural pronoun ஐ பயன்படுத்தவேண்டும்.
