Present Continuous Tense definition in Tamil meaning

தொடர் நிகழ் காலம் என்பது தற்போது தொடர்ந்து நடந்து கொண்டு இருக்கும் விசயம் ஆகும்
அதை present continuous tense என்று அழைப்பார்கள்.

இது  now தற்போது தொடர்ந்து நடக்கும் ஆனால் மிக குறைந்த (temporary ) நேரம் மட்டுமே நடக்கும்.

இதை சில வகை நேரங்களில் பயன்படுத்தி பேச வேண்டும் அதை காண்போம்.

When to use present continuous tense ?

1. Action going on present ( Now)

தற்போது தொடர்ந்து நடந்து கொண்டு இருப்பது.

➢ நான் வந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறேன்.

➤ You are reading.
➢ நீ படித்து கொண்டு இருக்கிர்கள்.

➤ I am writing.
➢ நான் எழுதி கொண்டு இருக்கிறேன்.

➤ He is speaking.
➢ அவன் பேசி கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்.

2. Action not happening at the time of speaking

ஒரு விசயம் தொடர்ந்து நடந்து இருக்கும் ஆனால் அது தற்போது பேசும்போது இருக்காது அதையும் present continuous tense ல் சொல்ல வேண்டும்.

சில  நேரங்களில் முன்கூட்டியே நடக்க இருக்கும் செயலை தற்போது  பேசும்போது அதை நாம் present continuous tense பேச வேண்டும்.
